A super hot summer day, you know this kind of days you spend with your girlfriend drinking a fresh bottle of ros\u00e9 on the beach. But we had some better idea. Life is good when you’re not feeling good. We get in the car to drive 45min to the city of Kerkyra and find a back door to enter in Kerkyra Stadium, theatre of Kerkyra FC. The team plays in the Superleague, first league of Greek championship and rank around the middle of the table. That is a small stadium, 3 000 seats, not particularly nice, not a strong identity, I mean just the minimum to watch a football game at this level. But looking around we can notice some interesting things. Like underwear displayed on the balcony of the house behind the goals, probably the local way to disturb the away team. At least that proves that football is definitely part of the life of the 97 000 people living in that small island. And that is beautiful. What a better feeling to be able to insult the referee half-naked on your balcony?<\/p>\n
